February in the HomeBaker’s Club…
Hello Homebaker!
We started the year with easy rolls and fun shapes, and the superiorly tasty Pain de Campagne so how about another French classic… the Brioche! This month you’ll find my chocolate brioche video course in the Homebaker’s club as well as a slightly controversial but so moreish and tasty cornbread. I hope you find plenty to learn…
Chocolate Brioche
This is the king of al enriched breads… laden with butter and eggs it is the softest of them all when done right! And in this one, we put chocolate too just in case it’s not decadent enough.
Cheddar and Chive Cornbread
Possibly not technically bread, this one is a mix up and bake job, made and baked in around 30 minutes! It has an incredibly savoury flavour and unique texture that’ll have you coming back for more. Essential to eat warm from the oven.
And in the “with bread” section
A spiced black bean soup and roasted plum pudding with crispy brioche topping (a must try!)
Now iT’S easier to find recipes!
Thanks to all your feedback and suggestions in the members forum, the HUGE amount of bread recipes in the club are now organised, categorised and easier to find.
If you haven’t joined the club already there’s so much to learn from the very basics all the way to stone-baked sourdough made from your homemade starter.
And more to come.
See you in class :-)
